Trutatva — derived from the Sanskrit for "true essence" — was born from a mother's conviction and a daughter's vision.
Founded by Niipa Katkorria and co-founded by Sneha Katkorria, Trutatva began with a deep respect for Ayurveda and a frustration that was hard to ignore. As lifelong believers in ancient wellness traditions, they saw a growing problem: the Ayurvedic market was flooded with products that mixed genuine herbs with synthetic chemicals, cutting corners in the name of cost — and calling it "natural." The premium end of the market was sparse. The truly pure end was nearly impossible to find. So they decided to build it themselves.
